What is this place?

'Catholic' means 'Universal.' Catholicity of Taste, therefore, means 'Universality of Taste.' Or, to put it another way, being open to truth, beauty, and insight from whatever source you may happen to find it.

What makes a good story? Truth combined with Beauty. A statement of reality told in a pleasing manner. One story may be true, but not at all pleasing to the audience, while another may be pleasing to the audience, but poisonous and false. Neither is of much value or worthy of much praise. It is our goal to sift through the stories we find to discover the Truth and the Beauty in each.

Film, Book, Song, and Game; Drama, Comedy, Horror, and Fantasy. It doesn't matter, as long as it tells a good story.
